Mark Saint Photography is a creative duo, Mark and Natalie. Mark takes the pictures and does the editing and Natalie is the person making sure everything goes smoothly, from your first call, to making sure your receive you photos on time.
Welcome to our site, I hope you have a pleasant time here. Hi, I’m Mark, your potential photographer. I’ve been an avid photographer for almost 10 years now, stemming right back to my days in college. My interest in photography was quite evolutionary from the dark room to digital. The early days were experimental at college just messing around in the darkroom, seeing what worked and what didn’t, then in university studying for my BA, moving to digital and creating a wide pallet of techniques to create unique and personal images.
No two days are the same whilst I have worked in this field, I love that my job allows me to meet so many different people and brings me new challenges.
Using tools and technology, I’ve spent years working with; I’ve turned to applying this knowledge and skill to provide people with the best possible work. I’m never complacent, always trying to push quality further. Having said that, don’t panic though! On shoots, I really try hard to make sure they’re fun and not too overbearing, I’ll always make sure that anything I ask you to do is something you’re comfortable with.
When I’m not obsessing over creating the best work possible for you, in my spare time my family comes first. I enjoy playing guitar (but please don’t ask me to play, all parties involved will be quite embarrassed) long walks with Natalie and my daughters and sometimes I enjoy dragging them along to gallery visits, notably the Tate Modern and other smaller galleries in London.
I would like to thank all of my family and friends for their on-going support throughout this transitional period to becoming a photographer. Your advice, reassurance and at times criticisms have been really helpful. I would like to thank in particular my dad and step-mum for all your assistance these past few years without you none of my or our families dreams and goals could have come into fruition, we are extremely grateful for all you have done. We cannot thank you enough and we are really happy that you were able to assist us in making an idea become reality.
My first love was always things of a creative nature. I have always loved to Sing, Zumba and Craft, spending some time teaching in a Secondary School a few years ago but it's been a while and I'm sure I'm rusty now! More recently, I've been taking an interest in photography which was sparked by Mark. He's spent time helping me become a key role in his photographic process as a second shooter and on occasion editing too, which I've quickly grown to love.
Potential brides will quickly find that I know exactly how you feel as a wife to be. We ourselves are planning to get married in a few years in Sicily with all the traditional rustic charm it has to offer. I get a bit carried away sometimes looking at dresses, villas and all the other details that make the whole thing perfect, even though it's so far away.
In our spare time, family comes first. We love to spend time with our two young daughters, we'll often help them cook, listen to them read and more recently, listen to our eldest play Clarinet, which she just began to learn. It's an interesting sound, trust me. We love to get out too, often spending days out at interesting little places around the country, especially art galleries, museums and we love camping.
You might also bump into us walking our lovely little rescue dog, a Patterdale terrier, named Sally. I love nothing more than being surrounded by friends and family. I'm really organised and love to clean! I adore being surrounded by pretty things and often find myself buying little trinkets for our girls. To be honest I'm a bit of a John Lewis addict too!
My favourite music is a range of R&B and pop ranging back to the 80's. You'll often hear me singing to the likes of Jason Derulo, Beverly Knight and Justin Timberlake and my favourite artist Beyonce. Much to Mark's disproval. We're so excited about our future together and working as we do has brought us even closer than we were before. Everything just fits together, it's as though it was meant to happen.
